At Velocity Commerce, we have over 15 years of experience in the online retail market. During that time, we have discovered what works and what doesn’t, including how to drive sales on platforms such as Amazon. With e-Commerce now driving the modern world, it can be difficult to know how and where to begin integrating your brand.
Velocity Cambridge Warehouse
The future of Online Commerce
With our extensive experience in the online marketplace and its platforms, our team can support you in developing your brand, and dominating the market, by providing quality content and resources to compete against the market leaders for high search rankings.
From our warehouse, we are able to hold large amounts of stock and dispatch partners’ goods directly to the customer via DPD and Royal Mail services – using 24 hour and 48 hour services. Now with over 3,000 orders per day, our team work hard to ensure that the consumer receives fast delivery and attentive customer support to ensure that all of our partners are presented at their best.
Our chosen charity is Global’s ‘Make Some Noise’, and over the past few years we have worked alongside some of our partners to raise money for this fantastic cause.
Global’s ‘Make Some Noise’ is a UK based charity that provides smaller charities around the UK with the money they need to continue supporting communities and families. Particular charities and causes that they support include children and families who are suffering with illness, disability or lack of opportunity. The variety of charities that they support and the communities that have benefited greatly by the work that Global do, has inspired us to get involved with some exhausting events all in the name of fundraising.
In February 2018, Velocity Director PJ successfully scaled Mount Kilimanjaro in honour of Global’s ‘Make Some Noise’ and their partner charities.
After 6 days of mixed terrain and tired legs, PJ made it to the top with a Majority Chesterton radio in hand to play Craig David through a digital radio station at the summit.
In April 2018, some of our staff braved the intense heatwave of the London Marathon and all of our employees completed the marathon successfully. Over £3,000 was raised through a range of charity events such as a ‘Muscle Mash Up’ – a 5 hour exercise fundraiser, and a ‘Greatest Showman’ children’s party.
